Qualifications
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Behavior Technician:Deliver direct client care in both individual and group settings, utilizing a blend of intensive teaching strategies and natural environment training. Implement behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as specified in the individualized treatment plan developed by a BCBA/BC. Accurately collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behaviors. Assist in training parents and caregivers in accordance with the client's individualized treatment protocols. Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation following established procedures. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about client progress as directed by the BCBA/BC. Adhere to safe and appropriate practices when working with clients, reporting all critical incidents and safety concerns promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Support BCBA/BC in preparing client materials, conducting behavior assessments, and facilitating skills acquisition.
