Central Illinois Branch Manager

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to take on the role of Central Illinois Branch Manager. This position will lead and expand Benesch’s Transportation practice in the region. The ideal candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to open a new office, assemble a talented team, and nurture client relationships across central Illinois.

This role will report directly to the Division Manager and offers significant leadership opportunities with visibility at state, regional, and national levels, including potential for ownership within Benesch.

The Branch Manager will oversee projects in roadway and bridge design, traffic engineering, hydraulics, construction management, and transportation planning. While a Professional Engineering license or AICP certification is preferred, the right candidate will have proven experience in business development, client relations, and the management and delivery of transportation projects for public agencies such as the Illinois DOT, counties, and municipalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand our practice in central Illinois.
  • Contribute to local, regional, and corporate strategic growth initiatives.
  • Develop and manage relationships with both existing and new clients.
  • Represent Benesch at industry events and professional organizations.
  • Identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships while fostering new ones to enhance our practice.
