As the Certification Program Manager for Global Training and Education at Cato Networks, you will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of the Cato Certification Program. You will oversee the entire certification exam lifecycle, from Job Task Analyses (JTAs) through to exam release, improvement, and retirement. Collaborating with various teams, you will ensure consistency across exams, training content, and product launches.
This role is critical in crafting a premier certification program that educates customers, certifies skills, encourages product adoption, and aligns with Cato’s business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete exam lifecycle, including JTAs, exam blueprint creation, item development, beta testing, and maintenance.
- Coordinate JTA and item writing workshops, as well as beta exam sessions.
- Establish and uphold psychometric and quality standards, applying industry best practices.
- Manage daily operations of the certification program, including developing and documenting processes.
- Oversee systems and tools used for exam development, delivery, proctoring, LMS, and digital badging.
- Work closely with the Training Content Development team for alignment between courses and certification exams.
- Collaborate with the Head of Global Training and Education and Cato Communities team to cultivate a vibrant Cato Certification Champion community.
- Identify and implement opportunities for program efficiency and scalability.
- Support the introduction of new tools, processes, and workflows as the program expands.
