AECOM is seeking a motivated Chartered Building Surveyor to become a key member of our dynamic Building Surveying Team in Leeds. The selected candidate will engage in a variety of tasks typical of a Chartered Building Surveyor, reporting directly to our Senior Management team. Projects may encompass live healthcare facilities, commercial premises, educational institutions, and historic university buildings predominantly located within Leeds and the Yorkshire region.

As part of a robust national Building Surveying community, our 90-strong team across 12 offices emphasizes collaboration and delivery on a daily basis. While primarily based in our Leeds Office, there may be opportunities for occasional travel across the UK, as well as international assignments, previously, our Surveyors have worked in locations such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Cologne. Notably, there are prospects for surveys in the USA and the Middle East in 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Administration
  • NEC Supervisor duties
  • Conducting Condition Surveys including PPM
  • Reinstatement Cost Assessments
  • Preparing specifications
  • AutoCAD drawing and design work, including measured surveys
  • Creating Schedules of Condition
  • Occasional collaboration with our Pre-Acquisition and Technical Due Diligence Survey team.
