We are expanding our team and are on the lookout for service-oriented individuals to take on the role of Chef Manager. This is your opportunity to work with a renowned global facilities management leader while enjoying a 14 days on, 14 days off roster based in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee staffing in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Work alongside the Operations Manager to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage rostering and lead onsite teams.
  • Compile daily reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in management and mass-catering settings, including meal preparation for breakfast, dinner, snacks, and pastries.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP along with exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences.

About You:

  • Must have Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia.
  • FIFO or remote site experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possess a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • Physically fit and capable of working extended shifts (up to 11 hours).
  • National Police Check required if not current (within the last 6 months).
  • Able to adapt to remote environments under extreme weather conditions.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol screening.
