• Previous experience supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is highly preferred.• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.• A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management, internal controls, or enterprise risk management.• Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, ERM implementation, and ensuring financial compliance in federal environments.• An active Secret security clearance is required (Top Secret/SCI preferred).

We are currently seeking a Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP) Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team for an anticipated federal program. This pivotal role requires proactive collaboration across accounting, budget, and compliance functions, with a focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), internal controls, audit readiness, funds management, and financial systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive CBDP program support for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing monitoring of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and assist in the development of the Manager’s Internal Control (MIC) Program.
• Support Information System Controls, including Complementary User Entity Controls (CUECs), ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
• Perform reconciliations of budgetary and proprietary accounts while overseeing vendor payment operations.
• Offer expertise in funds management and control, ensuring the accuracy and audit readiness of CBDP transactions.
• Aid in financial systems integration and coordination, including DAI, JICAP, and related platforms.
• Prepare audit documentation, corrective action plans, and sustainment strategies in alignment with GAO, OMB, and DoD standards.
• Develop and present financial management reports, metrics, and briefings to senior leadership.
