What you will do
- Create computational chemistry problems that reflect real research workflows
- Design tasks that require Python programming to solve, using tools like numpy, scipy, and chemical libraries
- Ensure problems are computationally intensive and not solvable manually in a reasonable time
- Develop scenarios involving complex reasoning in physical chemistry, quantum chemistry, or molecular modeling
- Base problems on genuine research challenges or practical chemistry applications
- Validate solutions in Python, applying standard computational chemistry methods
- Document problem statements clearly and provide accurate, verified solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other programming languages is also acceptable
