Qualifications
Main responsibilities include:Reviewing documentation provided by the client. Design criteria for instrumentation and control (automation). Technical specifications and data sheets for instrumentation and control equipment. Control philosophies and logics. Control architecture and development of control screens. BIM (3D) modeling for instrument layout, piping plans, and input/output diagrams as per the engineering phase. Conducting site visits to evaluate existing instrumentation installations, determining their capabilities and feasibility for use and intervention. Participating in regular engineering progress review meetings.

We are seeking a Chief Engineer of Instrumentation and Control for an engineering services project in Chuquicamata, located in the Antofagasta Region. The ideal candidate will possess a Civil Engineering degree or a comparable qualification, with at least 15 years of professional experience and a minimum of 10 years specifically in contract management and project leadership roles. Experience with CODELCO and the ability to act as a formal liaison between the Consultant and designated representatives is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates based in the Antofagasta Region.
