Currently, we are deploying our inaugural institutional fund, boasting approximately $300 million in committed capital, with a focus on control-oriented private equity investments across select sectors.Position OverviewThe Investment Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the investment lifecycle, encompassing sourcing, due diligence, execution, and portfolio monitoring. This position provides direct access to senior decision-makers and significant responsibilities within live transactions. The Analyst will collaborate closely with senior investment professionals on underwriting, due diligence, financing, and post-acquisition value enhancement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in deal origination efforts, including outreach, opportunity screening, and maintaining a live pipeline/CRM.Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models (3-statement, sources & uses, returns, sensitivities, scenario analysis).Conduct analysis of historical financials, normalize EBITDA, and pinpoint crucial due diligence issues and value drivers.Help prepare materials for the investment committee, including investment memoranda, presentations, and supporting analyses.Support execution tasks such as IOIs/LOIs, lender materials, CIM reviews, data room requests, and diligence trackers.Perform market and industry research (TAM, unit economics, competitive landscape, customer dynamics, pricing).Coordinate with third-party advisors (legal, accounting, insurance, lenders, QoE) and assist during diligence calls and meetings.Contribute to portfolio company reporting, KPI tracking, and performance analysis, including monthly/quarterly variance reports.Assist in developing repeatable tools and processes for underwriting, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.Support ad hoc strategic initiatives as required across the firm.
