Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:Genuine passion for aiding children with autism. Exhibit patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and pass a Tuberculosis test if not done in the last year. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Capacity to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds.

Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Child Autism Specialist. In this rewarding role, you will work directly with children on the autism spectrum, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

As a Behavior Technician, you'll utilize evidence-based strategies to foster communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while minimizing challenging behaviors. Your contribution will help children achieve their fullest potential.
