Your Daily Impact:

As a Children's Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering trauma-informed care to ensure young people feel safe and supported
  • Fostering positive relationships and encouraging healthy daily routines
  • Assisting with meal preparation, educational support, and life skills development
  • Advocating for the children’s voices, ensuring they feel heard and valued
  • Accompanying young people to medical appointments and community activities
  • Utilizing your own vehicle for transportation when necessary
  • Empowering them to move forward confidently into their next chapters

 

What We Seek:

Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
A full UK driver’s licence and your own car
Strong qualities of patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
A flexible mindset (willingness to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required)
A clear enhanced DBS (or readiness to complete one)
Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent qualification.

 

What We Offer You:

Competitive pay:

£17.50ph - £24.00ph PAYE Rate (inclusive of holiday pay)
£20.00ph - £28.00ph Umbrella Rate
