We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with expertise in hydroelectricity and dam structures. Our multidisciplinary energy team works with key market players, providing a flexible hybrid work model that allows you to work from home or one of our various offices across Quebec (Montreal, Laval, Sherbrooke, Quebec City, Gatineau, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering design and renovation of:
- Hydroelectric plants (buildings, steel frameworks, concrete structures)
- Hydraulic structures (buildings, dams, spillways, gate hoisting structures, intake structures, etc.)
- Hydroelectric facilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary technical coordination and project management
- Conduct design calculations in reinforced concrete and structural steel
- Perform feasibility studies, preliminary projects, and various assessments
- Stability studies of dams and various hydraulic structures
- Safety assessments of dams
- Inspection of hydraulic structures, buildings, and hydroelectric facilities
- Prepare technical plans and specifications
- Assist in construction method analysis
- Participate in cost estimation for projects
