We are excited to announce that we are seeking dedicated Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our esteemed client based in Harlow. This opportunity offers Full-Time positions with work schedules from Monday to Friday, starting at 5 AM, plus the potential for Saturday shifts every other week. Both Full-Time and Temp-to-Perm options are available for the right candidates.
Your responsibilities as a Class 2 Driver will include:
- Working Monday to Friday (with Saturday overtime options)
- Starting every day at 5 AM.
- Completing an average of 10-12 deliveries per day.
- Engaging in customer-facing roles and handling cash collections for certain clients.
- Receiving comprehensive training to excel in your role.
- Delivering a range of products, including frozen, chilled, and ambient food items across London and the Home Counties.
Compensation for the Class 2 Driver role is structured as follows:
- £15.00 per hour (for the first 9 hours)
- £18.00 per hour (for any hours over 9)
- £18.00 per hour for all hours worked on Saturdays
To be considered for this Class 2 Driver position, you need to meet the following criteria:
- A valid driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months with over 60 driving days in the last 6 months.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
- Possession of a current CPC card.
- Possession of a current Digi Card.
- Exclusions for specific penalty codes: AC, BA, CD, DC, DD, DR, DG, IN10, LC, MS90, MW, TT99, MR, UT.
Additionally, you will have access to a subsidised staff canteen.
