Key Responsibilities of the Cleaning Validation Engineer:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of cleaning validation for technology transfer projects.
  • Conduct soil evaluations to rank worst-case products and residues.
  • Identify worst-case equipment configurations and establish justification approaches.
  • Develop and support performance qualification strategies for cleaning validation.
  • Utilize existing validation data to maintain a risk-based methodology.
  • Draft and review validation protocols, reports, and risk assessments.
  • Support cleanability assessments and sample recovery considerations as needed.
  • Coordinate validation activities across various workstreams.
  • Oversee deviations, investigations, and corrective actions related to cleaning validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, MS&T, and Engineering.
  • Ensure adherence to cGMP and regulatory standards.
