Join Coral Future as a Climate Change Project Associate where you will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing our expanding portfolio of emission reduction projects worldwide. You will oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initial assessments to certification under international carbon and environmental standards. This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management of emission reduction projects throughout the validation, registration, verification, and issuance processes.
- Prepare technical project documents, feasibility studies, templates, concept notes, and monitoring reports in compliance with standards such as VCS, Gold Standard, CDM, GCC, and I-RECs.
- Conduct baseline and additionality assessments, including technical and financial analyses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project owners, third-party auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the business development team on project due diligence and proposal preparation while providing expert insights.
- Conduct site visits to project locations, which may involve remote areas and challenging travel conditions.
- Review technical documents created by team members and external parties.
- Adhere to internal guidelines and tools, ensuring project milestones and key information remain current.
- Offer training and guidance on technical topics, project management, scheduling, and tools to team members.
- Define vision, strategy, goals, and priorities for Coral Future’s project portfolio while actively seeking new business opportunities.
