About the Role:
Join our dynamic London team as a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) in a hybrid position that combines both in-office and remote work. You will be required to work 2-3 days per week, including evenings and weekends, at our Kings Cross location, while also enjoying the flexibility of remote work on other days. Your expertise will be pivotal in prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex medical conditions.
This role necessitates on-site work during evenings and weekends.
In your capacity as a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide tailored, safe, and effective treatments that cater to the diverse needs of our patients.
Collaboration is the essence of this role. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of clinical pathways. Additionally, you will engage in patient and staff education, actively driving improvements in treatment outcomes within this rapidly evolving field.
Key Responsibilities:
As an On-Site Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
- Conduct clinical checks and reviews of cannabis-based medicine prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
- Prescribe medications as an Independent Prescriber, customizing treatments to meet individual patient requirements.
- Provide expert advice to prescribers and patients regarding treatment alternatives.
- Ensure accurate patient records are maintained in compliance with GPhC standards.
- Assist the dispensary team by addressing complex clinical inquiries.
- Deliver education and training on cannabis-based medicines to patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with the broader team to enhance processes and improve clinical outcomes.
