Key Responsibilities:Conduct clinical checks and reviews of cannabis-based product medicines (CBPM) prescriptions for both safety and accuracy. Prescribe medications as an Independent Prescriber, customizing treatments to meet individual patient requirements. Provide expert advice to both prescribers and patients regarding treatment options. Maintain precise patient records in compliance with GPhC standards. Assist the dispensary team by addressing complex clinical inquiries. Deliver educational sessions on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff. Collaborate with the broader team to optimize processes and enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications:Registration with the GPhC and an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in prescribing. Professional experience in a clinical setting. Familiarity with CBPM is preferred but not required; willingness to undergo specialized training is acceptable. Exceptional communication skills, effective in both clinical and non-clinical environments. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands. Proactive and resourceful in problem-solving. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex workflows.

About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Montu UK as a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) in London. This is a hybrid position where you will spend 3 days in our London office and 2 days working remotely. You will be instrumental in prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex medical conditions.

In this role, you will ensure safe and effective personalized treatment tailored to patients with diverse needs. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care while actively contributing to the advancement of clinical pathways. Your role will also include educating patients and staff and driving improvements in treatment outcomes in this rapidly evolving field.

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, including 1 Saturday each month.
