Key Responsibilities:Conduct clinical checks and reviews of cannabis-based product medicines (CBPM) prescriptions for both safety and accuracy. Prescribe medications as an Independent Prescriber, customizing treatments to meet individual patient requirements. Provide expert advice to both prescribers and patients regarding treatment options. Maintain precise patient records in compliance with GPhC standards. Assist the dispensary team by addressing complex clinical inquiries. Deliver educational sessions on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff. Collaborate with the broader team to optimize processes and enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications:Registration with the GPhC and an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in prescribing. Professional experience in a clinical setting. Familiarity with CBPM is preferred but not required; willingness to undergo specialized training is acceptable. Exceptional communication skills, effective in both clinical and non-clinical environments. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
