Role Overview: Cloud Engineer

Location: Arlington, VA (project work onsite in Winchester, VA)

Clearance: Top Secret required

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with project teams to address technical challenges
  • Create scripts and templates to automate resource provisioning
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new cloud technologies
  • Design and implement cloud services in production environments
  • Independently manage assigned project tasks
  • Contribute to workstreams and communicate progress

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with databases, computing, storage, and networking on platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, VMware, or Oracle Cloud Platform
  • Hands-on experience with a cloud migration or modernization project
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work onsite in Winchester, VA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing a cloud migration project
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Practitioner)
  • Familiarity with container and serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and orchestration tools like Chef or Ansible
  • US Citizenship
