Your Responsibilities:Guarantee maximum uptime for our global cloud infrastructure. Automate processes and develop tools to enhance operational efficiency. Coordinate operational tasks across teams to enhance the platform with minimal disruption. Your Contributions to DigitalOcean:Strong experience with Linux operating systems and day-to-day maintenance. Knowledge of virtualization technologies and troubleshooting virtual machines. Familiarity with containerization technologies and troubleshooting containerized applications. Understanding of IPv4 networking and troubleshooting (CCNA equivalent). Basic knowledge of storage concepts and technologies. Experience with monitoring systems and incident management. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go. Experience with GPU hardware, AI/ML applications, and Kubernetes. A commitment to thorough documentation and open communication. Proven ability to learn and adapt.

We are in search of an experienced Cloud Operations Administrator to ensure the seamless operation of our cloud services. Reporting to the Cloud Operations Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and addressing all cloud health issues that could affect customer experiences, both internal and external. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to investigate and resolve issues, ranging from individual droplets to large-scale cloud disturbances. Our work schedule is five days a week, which may include weekends.
