Axiom is looking for a dynamic and adaptable Commercial Contracts Attorney to provide essential support to our client, a leading insurance provider, across a diverse array of commercial contracting and legal matters. As a key member of our legal team, you will serve as a generalist resource, delivering practical legal guidance on vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, and other commercial contracts, in addition to providing support for real estate and various business-related issues. This position aims to fill a team bandwidth gap, focusing on managing overflow work, aiding project-based initiatives, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and business units. This vacancy arises from a recent team transition.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of third-party agreements, including vendor contracts, IT/SaaS agreements, and general commercial contracts.
- Manage medium-complexity commercial agreements and corporate transactions, extending beyond narrow specialties.
- Offer real estate legal support, involving lease amendments, renewals, refurbishment agreements, and coordination with external counsel on larger projects.
- Act as a central legal resource supporting various internal teams, including HR, IT, Claims & Service Providers, and Real Estate.
- Engage in project-based and overflow tasks, such as organizing contract management systems, structuring folders, and enhancing document organization and process scalability.
