The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a driven Commercial Growth Account Executive to identify new workloads and expand MongoDB's use within existing accounts utilizing our Database as a Service (DBaaS), Atlas, in a self-service manner. Your focus will be on educating customers about the ongoing advancements in our developer data platform and demonstrating additional features that can be tailored to their unique requirements. You will play a crucial role in supporting customers throughout their journey, enhancing adoption, retention, and overall satisfaction. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for growth within a vibrant sales team.

Day to Day Responsibilities
- Identify new workloads and potential use cases within existing accounts to drive increased Atlas consumption through proactive pipeline generation and outbound initiatives.
- Effectively communicate the value of MongoDB's expanded feature set and the evolving developer data platform.
- Assist customers at every stage of their journey, addressing inquiries and ensuring optimal product utilization.
- Forge strong relationships within customer accounts to enhance visibility and deepen the partnership between MongoDB and key decision-makers.
- Strategically navigate various industries using a data-driven discovery and sales approach to facilitate customer workload expansion.
What You Bring to the Table
- 1-2 years of sales experience, ideally within database or software sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive landscape (top 10% performer).
- A dynamic, enthusiastic, and tenacious team-oriented approach.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in a quota and commission-driven environment.
