As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for executing testing and commissioning operations according to the site specifications. Your role will include assisting the Commissioning Lead Engineer in planning, scheduling, and reporting on project progress.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and documenting all test results, approving final testing and acceptance of equipment, and compiling necessary documentation for project dossiers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of installations to achieve optimal plant performance in alignment with project timelines.
Your leadership skills will be essential as you coordinate a multi-disciplinary commissioning team on-site and engage with Engineering, Construction, and Client Operations teams. You will manage the completion of walk-downs and Punch Lists, updating and forwarding commissioning data to the CMS Admin/Coordinator.
It is vital that you ensure all technician activities are carried out safely and in compliance with site procedures and PTW systems. You will coordinate various testing phases, such as functional, performance, and acceptance tests during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup stages, ensuring all necessary documentation and resources are available.
Additionally, you will oversee Certifying Authority witnessing on-site and provide technical support to Operations throughout the startup, stabilization, and performance testing phases.
