New Energy Nexus (NEX) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to empowering clean energy entrepreneurs through funding, accelerator programs, and extensive networking opportunities. Founded in California, we have expanded our reach to China, India, Southeast Asia, East and West Africa, the UAE, and Australia. Our mission is to foster diverse entrepreneurial talent to drive innovation and create equity within the global clean energy sector.
We aim to support 100,000 startups by 2030, a critical decade for uncovering and nurturing climate solutions. Through our international network, we directly assist hundreds of entrepreneurs every year while uplifting thousands more. Since our inception in 2004, we have mobilized $3.7 billion in investments and have supported over 1,200 clean energy startups.
About New Energy Nexus China
New Energy Nexus China facilitates business matchmaking and consulting services for large corporations and startups, focusing on advancing energy transition and carbon neutrality objectives. Since 2016, we have supported the growth of over 400 innovative companies through programs such as the EXCEL Accelerator and the LG Energy Solution Battery Challenge.
Key Programs Include:
- Accelerator – fostering industrial development and capacity building for growth-stage startups.
- Forums & Summits – hosting tech exchanges, showcases, discussions on industry hot topics, and partnership negotiations.
- Pilot Projects – enabling collaborative product design between large, medium, and small companies.
- Multi-dimensional Training – cultivating an innovation-oriented mindset within the industry.
- Investment Guidance – connecting startups with funding opportunities for scaling.
- International Exchange – facilitating visits and expansion into key markets.

Responsibilities
- Assist supervisors and the team with corporate and program communications, including material compilation, website development, report formatting, event planning and execution, and community engagement.
- Independently plan and execute online and offline communication campaigns based on project publicity strategies, including collateral design, video script writing, and copywriting to enhance project impact.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Internship Duration: Minimum of 3 months, requiring 4–5 days of on-site presence per week (potential for retention).
