Purpose
The Communications Manager will drive and support the company's communication strategies, translating strategic directives into high-quality, consistent, and timely messaging across all platforms. Reporting directly to the Communications & Marketing Director, this hands-on role focuses on delivering Divergent's narrative of innovation, credibility, and growth to both internal and external audiences.
The Role
- Strategic Messaging Support
Assist in crafting and executing the company's brand narrative through the implementation of messaging frameworks across press, digital, event, and internal communications, ensuring a consistent voice and positioning in all outputs. - Media Relations Execution
Compose press releases, media pitches, and briefing materials. Coordinate media outreach, manage press inquiries, and foster relationships with journalists, analysts, and industry publications under the guidance of the Communications & Marketing Director. - Content Creation & Management
Develop, edit, and oversee a continuous stream of high-quality content, including press releases, blog entries, case studies, white papers, executive presentations, and social media posts. - Executive & Leadership Communications Support
Aid in the preparation of executive communications, including talking points, speeches, presentations, and thought leadership content. - Internal Communications
Enhance internal communication efforts by drafting company-wide updates, leadership messages, and employee communications that promote transparency, engagement, and company culture. - Crisis & Practical Communications
Develop crisis communication strategies and manage practical communication processes to safeguard the company’s reputation during challenging times.
