Qualifications

Genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Patience, compassion, and teamwork abilities. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not done in the last year). Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to move in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with children, executing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your expertise in evidence-based strategies will help develop essential communication, social, and daily living skills, while effectively minimizing challenging behaviors.

The role requires physical stamina as children can be energetic and unpredictable; thus, comfort with activities such as standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds is necessary.
