Your primary responsibility as a CHHA will be to offer personal healthcare and support services as an extension of nursing or therapy. This includes assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment, collaborating closely with patients, caregivers, and families, and communicating important observations to your supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and dressing.
- Support patients with elimination needs and linen changes.
- Guide patients through range of motion exercises and light meal preparation.
- Manage light housekeeping tasks related to patient care.
- Report any significant changes in the patient's condition to the assigned nurse.
- Adhere to Apollo documentation standards and maintain professional conduct.
