At Soundly Speaking Therapy Services, we are seeking a registered dietitian who is eager to apply their comprehensive nutrition expertise to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their caregivers. Our mission in the Dietary Department is to enhance the health and well-being of our clients through thorough nutrition assessments, medical nutrition therapy, and personalized counseling. Ideal candidates will have experience working with adults diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, and other related conditions. Soundly Speaking offers both in-person and teletherapy services to our clients. In this part-time role, our dietitian will:

  • Deliver high-quality therapy sessions either at the client’s home or virtually, while actively engaging with families regarding treatment progress.

  • Maintain regular communication with families about goals and advancements, and provide monthly updates to case managers as necessary.

  • Demonstrate strong adaptability and teamwork skills.

  • Submit required documentation within 24 hours of completion.

  • Ensure the confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.
