BAYADA Hospice is currently looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Hospice Volunteers in our Wilmington, Delaware office, which serves clients across New Castle and Kent County.

As a Hospice Volunteer, you will be an integral part of our Hospice Interdisciplinary Group (IDG), providing vital support to clients, families, and caregivers through home management assistance, emotional support, and various supportive tasks related to terminal illness and end-of-life care.

We are looking for Volunteers to assist with:

Home management tasks.
Offering companionship and friendship to clients.
Providing relief to caregivers.
Specialty areas: Veteran-to-Veteran Support, Reiki, Massage, Pet Therapy, Craft Volunteer, End of Life Doula.
Sharing unique talents, such as music or art.
Transport escort assistance when needed.
Clerical work and other office tasks.
Planning memorial services.
Bereavement support for loved ones.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Completion of a criminal background check, as per state requirements.
Fulfillment of all state requirements for volunteers, where applicable.
Compliance with BAYADA requirements and state regulations if providing professional services.
