Role Overview

As a Field Development Engineer for our Compute Platform, you will serve as the technical partner assisting customers in maximizing their use of ai&'s Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure. Our compute platform is designed for simplicity, enabling developers and engineering teams to deploy web applications, APIs, backend services, and AI workloads without the need to manage the underlying infrastructure. Your role is to translate this promise into reality for every customer you engage with.

You will work with a diverse range of customers, from startups launching their first production applications to enterprises transitioning complex workloads to ai& infrastructure. You will manage the technical relationship, architect the deployment, and provide ongoing support throughout the go-live process and beyond. You will bring platform expertise, deployment patterns, and hands-on technical depth to assist customers in reaching production swiftly.

This is a peer-level technical role. You will not simply provide customers with a documentation link. Instead, you will collaborate directly with their engineering teams, comprehend their technology stack, and co-design solutions. When issues arise, you will diagnose them. When customers are uncertain about the best course of action, you will guide them. The insights you gain in the field will contribute to enhancing ai&'s platform.

Responsibilities
