Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities for assigned subdivisions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of each construction phase through effective scheduling, monitoring, and quality inspections, all while prioritizing customer satisfaction and maintaining adherence to our company's goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in budgeting time requirements for construction phases and meet deadlines by coordinating subcontractor work and deliveries, while monitoring progress towards completion and closing dates.
  • Act as the liaison between operations, subcontractors, and vendors; supervise subcontractor work to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
  • Conduct daily inspections of home production at various construction phases to uphold quality control; monitor the progress of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment usage.
  • Review and analyze site plans and blueprints to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Hold pre-construction and pre-settlement meetings with home buyers; resolve customer service issues and production problems to uphold customer satisfaction; complete any necessary finishing and warranty work.
  • Assist in controlling production costs through the review and approval of time sheets, invoices, and inspection sheets, and communicate with relevant individuals to track costs.
  • Implement appropriate training methods and standards for subordinates and subcontractors; enforce safety and company policy compliance.
  • Directly supervise subordinates and assist in the oversight of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as required.
