As a Construction Manager II, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directing the construction of new home communities. This position requires a detailed evaluation of each project to effectively schedule deliverables, estimate costs, and manage all onsite and offsite construction activities while ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Utilizing BuildPro to develop and manage daily schedules, ensuring all construction activities adhere to the established timeline.
- Coordinating and supervising all construction activities on-site.
- Procuring necessary job site materials while maintaining budgetary constraints.
- Scheduling inspections as needed throughout the construction process.
- Identifying potential issues and providing effective solutions, focusing on Cycle Time adherence.
- Managing contracts and maintaining communication with trade contractors and suppliers to guarantee timely work commencement and completion.
- Ensuring that homes and production sites are kept safe, organized, and secure.
- Overseeing erosion control measures in accordance with SWPPP regulations.
- Employing Eliant Customer Satisfaction metrics to uphold high satisfaction levels across Home Delivery, Overall Construction, Workmanship Material categories, and cleanliness.
- Conducting all quality control inspections and pre-occupancy orientations for homes, adhering to company standards.
- Monitoring job sites for safety on a daily basis and holding safety meetings with contractors as necessary.
- Planning and directing work, as well as appraising the performance of teams.
- Making recommendations regarding promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
