What You Will Do
As the Construction Manager on Gigaenergy's Project Development team, you will play a critical role in constructing the essential infrastructure for the AI revolution. You will lead and manage all on-site labor for data center construction projects from groundbreaking to commissioning, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This high-visibility role allows you to make impactful decisions that influence the physical output of our projects. You will collaborate directly with subcontractors, project owners, and internal teams to keep projects aligned and troubleshoot issues before they escalate.
Where You Will Work
We foster an in-office culture because speed is crucial in building physical infrastructure, and the best decisions arise from collaboration in person. This role is ideally based in our Houston office, with a full-time on-site requirement except for bi-weekly work-from-home Fridays. However, we are open to accommodating exceptional talent residing outside our primary locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site labor, subcontractors, and construction activities from mobilization through turnover for data center projects.
- Create and maintain detailed construction schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved while proactively identifying and mitigating schedule risks.
- Coordinate daily field operations, including manpower planning and equipment logistics.
