Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing sensitive company matters. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all organizational levels.

At Independence Construction, a division of DiGeronimo Companies, we are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to oversee our exciting new data center project scheduled to commence in Q1 2026. As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in managing daily field operations and leading a team committed to excellence.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Regularly update and analyze project schedules with subcontractors, vendors, and project management teams, ensuring timely communication of any changes.
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to adhere to project timelines.
  • Implement and manage safety protocols, including overseeing OSHA inspections with the project team.
  • Develop and review Site Specific Safety Plans in collaboration with the Safety Manager and project teams.
  • Enforce Independence Construction’s Safety Program and conduct morning safety briefings on-site.
  • Assist in navigating the permitting process for building and project-related permits.
  • Manage quality control logs, deficiency reports, and daily project documentation.
  • Facilitate the closure of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Inspect ongoing work for compliance with project specifications, including shoring, steel reinforcing, and other critical elements.
