Position: KYC Quality Assurance Tester – Contract (London)
Join our team at Capitex as we embark on an extensive KYC testing and remediation initiative for a leading global financial services firm. We are looking for multiple skilled KYC QA Testers to help ensure that our compliance processes are robust and effective. This contract role is ideal for up to 10 professionals based in London.
Project Overview: This substantial project is akin to previous large-scale operations, focusing on the thorough review, testing, and validation of KYC files and processes in alignment with regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities:
- Execute Quality Assurance (QA) testing on KYC documents, ensuring they meet accuracy and compliance benchmarks.
- Assess and validate client onboarding, customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and transaction monitoring documentation.
- Detect discrepancies within KYC files, reporting issues to pertinent teams for resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, KYC Operations, and Risk teams to ensure that remediation tasks satisfy both internal and regulatory requirements.
- Document findings clearly for both internal reporting and external audits.
- Provide insights and suggestions on process enhancements and KYC best practices.
- Engage in daily stand-ups, progress meetings, and collaborative efforts with fellow QA testers and project stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as a KYC QA Tester, KYC Analyst, or Compliance Analyst in the financial sector.
- Thorough understanding of AML, KYC, and compliance frameworks (including CDD, EDD, PEP, and sanctions screening).
- Proven ability to conduct quality assurance evaluations of KYC files, showcasing attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Capacity to thrive in a structured, high-volume remediation setting while ensuring quality and precision.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating findings effectively.
- London-based with the ability to work on-site full-time during the initial two weeks of the project.
- Flexibility to adapt to hybrid/remote working arrangements post-induction.
- Willingness to collaborate with multiple vendors in a competitive resource environment.
