About the Role

The Controller will spearhead all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and robust internal controls throughout the organization. This pivotal role encompasses the complete accounting cycle, overseeing annual audits, loan accounting, payroll processes, and financial reporting. You will lead and nurture a high-performing accounting team, playing a critical role in preserving financial integrity and driving organizational advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
Manage the month-end closing process, financial reporting, and monitoring of budget versus actual outcomes.
Direct annual audit preparations, documentation, and liaise with auditors.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and uphold strong internal controls.
Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and mission-driven culture.
Manage loan accounting systems, invoicing, ACH processing, and related reporting.
Support the financial needs of various departments and organizational initiatives.
