Key Responsibilities:
- Design imaginative and distinctive sock patterns tailored to client specifications.
- Produce detailed technical specifications for production processes.
- Choose suitable color palettes and design components that resonate with our brand identity.
- Employ CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite to create polished design outputs.
- Keep abreast of current trends in textile and sock design, integrating modern techniques and innovative concepts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure designs fulfill both functional and aesthetic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in textile or apparel design, with a focus on sock design preferred.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and CAD software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of textile materials, sock construction, and knitting methods.
- Outstanding creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with sock kibitzing, including construction, knitting techniques, and detailing.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
