As the Creative Director, Web, you will be the creative force behind Google’s digital presence. This role exists at the crossroads of compelling brand storytelling and innovative web technology. We seek a digital storyteller who can transform a website into an engaging brand experience, rather than just a functional platform.

Your mission will be to lead the creative direction for high-profile marketing websites, product launch pages, and interactive digital experiences. With an eye for pixel-perfect design, you are immersed in the latest web trends (WebGL, micro-interactions, motion) and excel at translating the Google brand into digital ecosystems that are both functional and enchanting. You will establish the creative vision, mentor the team, and engage directly with design files to guarantee every pixel meets the "Google Grade."

Responsibilities:

Web Vision & Digital Storytelling

  • The "Flash" & The Function: Spearhead the development of striking, high-impact marketing websites and digital experiences. You will connect strategic marketing with interactive design, ensuring the web serves as an alluring destination rather than merely a vessel for information.
  • User-Centric Magic: Deeply understand the product and its users. Your role is to bridge the gap through intuitive UI and delightful UX that embodies Google's ethos, simple, human, and functional, yet infused with a sense of wonder that advances the brand.
  • Push the Browser: Remain at the forefront of browser capabilities. Advocate for new web technologies and motion design innovations.
