We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Web Designer to develop captivating, user-friendly website layouts and digital experiences. In this role, you will translate high-level ideas and business needs into beautiful, functional designs, effectively blending creativity with technical proficiency. Your contributions will significantly influence how our brand and our clients’ brands are perceived online.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Conceptualize: Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to articulate design concepts clearly.
- UI/UX Execution: Create visually appealing, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces for websites and web applications.
- Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, marketers, and developers to provide seamless digital experiences.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure that typography, color schemes, iconography, and style are cohesive across all digital platforms.
- Front-End Development: (Optional based on your coding skills) Convert mockups into clean HTML and CSS.
- Responsive Design: Guarantee optimal user experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
- Iterate & Improve: Utilize user research and usability testing to enhance and evolve design solutions.
- Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of the latest trends in web design, UI/UX, and front-end technology.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Web Designer, UI Designer, or in a related role
- A robust portfolio demonstrating web design projects and your creative process
- Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design methodologies
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Keen eye for typography, color, and layout
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Innovative problem-solving attitude
(A degree in Design, Graphic Design, or Interactive Media is preferred, but an impressive portfolio is equally valuable.)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
- Experience in motion design or prototyping (After Effects, Framer, Principle)
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Background in a marketing-related field
