ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an energetic team of credit controllers in a dynamic environment where you will manage relationships with high-profile clients. Collaborating closely with your Manager and colleagues, you'll ensure exceptional service delivery to tenants while working hand-in-hand with Client Accountants, Treasury, and Property Managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and sustaining strong professional relationships within the credit control team and across the organization is critical. You are expected to be proactive and exceed expectations in your role.
This position entails regular communication with tenants via phone and email to confirm timely payment of all charges in accordance with lease agreements.
Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit, along with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Property Managers and Client Accounts dedicated to specific clients or properties.
- Maintaining an accurate tenant database to facilitate the collection of arrears.
- Independently managing the collection of overdue accounts.
- Proactively contacting habitual late payers before deadlines.
- Utilizing initiative to achieve targeted outcomes while fostering customer goodwill.
- Daily communication with Cashiers to ensure Property Managers have accurate information.
- Reconciling accounts as required.
- Providing clients with reports on the status of arrears recovery.
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as necessary.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

You should possess excellent communication skills, enabling the establishment of effective working relationships with colleagues in Credit Control and beyond.
While formal credit control qualifications are not mandatory, previous experience in credit control is highly desirable.
- Mathematics and English G. C. S. E A-C.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in IT and software, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
