Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems within the data center.
- Collaborate with fellow Critical Facilities Technicians (CFTs) to achieve total availability (100% uptime) and mitigate risks.
- Continuously monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions in the data halls.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for managing all planned and unplanned work.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Assist in the creation, revision, and execution of approximately 200 operating procedures and preventive maintenance inspections, ensuring quality control for accuracy and clarity.
- Support the development of Data Center standards and policies as needed.
- Quickly resolve electrical and mechanical issues, communicating effectively with the necessary channels.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations, working independently or collaboratively based on staffing and circumstances.
