Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems within the data center.
  • Collaborate with fellow Critical Facilities Technicians (CFTs) to achieve total availability (100% uptime) and mitigate risks.
  • Continuously monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions in the data halls.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for managing all planned and unplanned work.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Assist in the creation, revision, and execution of approximately 200 operating procedures and preventive maintenance inspections, ensuring quality control for accuracy and clarity.
  • Support the development of Data Center standards and policies as needed.
  • Quickly resolve electrical and mechanical issues, communicating effectively with the necessary channels.
  • Respond to emergencies and critical situations, working independently or collaboratively based on staffing and circumstances.
