About the job

As a Solutions Engineer (SE) at iliad-free, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the design of tailored solutions for power, cooling, and intra-datacenter networks, ensuring they align perfectly with business goals, client requirements, and industry reference architectures (NVIDIA, OEM, Hyperscaler) across AI, cloud, and enterprise environments. With expertise in rapidly evolving datacenter technologies, including cooling, power supply, and hardware, you will steer the technological roadmap of OpCore and represent the company at specialized events, such as the Open Compute Project.

In the pre-sales phase, the SE acts as a technical liaison between the sales teams, engineering (CTO), and operations (COO), translating customer needs into scalable and sustainable solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting sales teams in crafting technical proposals.
  • Leading technical commitments with clients, including Technical Due Diligence audits.
  • Providing continuous expertise throughout the lifecycle of solutions.
  • Actively contributing to the evolution of OpCore's Hybrid Datacenter Design (HDD).

Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to meet the demands of the most discerning clients, strengthen strategic technical relationships, and ensure alignment with business imperatives, thus embodying OpCore's technological and operational excellence.

Mission 1 – Commercial Support

Pre-sales:

  • Design complex hosting solutions (high density, direct liquid cooling, IB/Ethernet networks) based on OpCore's Hybrid Datacenter Design (HDD) and NVIDIA/AMD reference architectures.
  • Lead technical audits (Technical Due Diligence) for hyperscale clients, ensuring comprehensive and timely responses while collaborating with the CTO and COO offices.
  • Expertly present HDD solutions during client meetings and specialized events, reinforcing OpCore's position as a technological leader.
  • Assist sales teams in developing strategic proposals for hyperscale, HPC, and AI segments.
  • Coordinate site visits, showcasing the HDD infrastructure and its competitive advantages.
  • Influence internal teams to ensure smooth project transitions to deployment phases.

Mission 2 – Partner Relations & Technological Leadership

  • Develop cutting-edge expertise on IT partner reference architectures (NVIDIA, AMD, OEM) and critical equipment manufacturers (e.g., Vertiv), anticipating technological advancements.
  • Represent OpCore at workshops and other industry-related events to promote collaboration and innovation.
