Role overview
This role manages a portfolio of SMB customers, guiding them through their journey with HackerRank. The focus is on ensuring consistent product adoption, smooth renewals, and a positive customer experience. The Customer Account Manager works closely with team members, follows established playbooks, and receives support from senior colleagues to drive retention and uncover straightforward expansion opportunities.
What you will do
- Oversee a portfolio of SMB customers, applying defined adoption and renewal strategies to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins to help customers get value from the platform and address questions or issues proactively.
- Support renewal conversations and standard contract processes, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Act as a strategic advisor by leading discussions with customers and internal teams to remove barriers and speed up adoption.
- Spot basic expansion or increased usage opportunities and partner with senior colleagues when appropriate.
- Keep customer data, renewal tracking, and activity logs up to date in CRM tools.
- Work with Sales, Product, and Support teams to deliver a consistent customer experience.
