We are on the lookout for a Customer Success Manager to strengthen our team. This role involves acting as a strategic advisor, helping prominent organizations revolutionize their workflows through process applications developed on Appian’s innovative software platform, which includes AI, robotic automation, Data Fabric, and other cutting-edge technologies. You will develop a thorough understanding of our clients' business objectives, fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders at all levels, thereby establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and a pivotal force in their success.
Your expertise in customer needs, combined with your business and technical knowledge, will empower you to guide clients in achieving their specific goals through collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. As a Customer Success Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure progress towards key customer outcomes, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to customer success, including business, program, implementation, technical, project, adoption, and engagement challenges.
This role is based at our headquarters in McLean, VA. At Appian, we believe that in-person collaboration is essential to our mission of excellence. Employees in this position are expected to be present in the office 4 to 5 days per week to foster this collaborative culture, ensuring that we thrive through shared ideas and teamwork, and maximizing opportunities to connect with our talented team members. While in-person interactions with clients are paramount, we also recognize that an office environment enhances our ability to celebrate achievements, collaborate effectively, and cultivate strong inter-team relationships.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Identifying and defining each customer's business objectives, translating these into prioritized, actionable plans, and driving execution in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Leading customer adoption by enabling clients to independently build, manage, and scale their Appian applications and solutions.
- Positioning yourself as a strategic partner and trusted advisor by aligning Appian’s capabilities with the evolving business strategies of our customers.
- Recognizing opportunities to broaden Appian’s footprint across customer accounts.
