Your Responsibilities
Threat Modeling: Engage in threat modeling sessions to identify and document potential risks associated with new features, systems, or architectural modifications.
Penetration Testing: Assist in internal security evaluations and coordinate external penetration tests by helping with test scoping, validating findings, and tracking remediation.
Security Operations: Aid in monitoring security alerts, triaging incidents, and investigating potential threats using tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and endpoint protection platforms.
Vulnerability Management: Support the scanning and tracking of vulnerabilities in applications and cloud infrastructure, coordinating remediation efforts with engineering teams.
Security Awareness & Training: Help develop and implement internal security training and phishing simulations to foster a robust security culture.
Tooling & Automation: Collaborate with the security team to enhance monitoring and reporting through scripting or automation using platforms like Python, Bash, or GitHub Actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product, DevOps, and engineering teams to gather context, highlight potential risks, and engage in secure-by-design discussions.
