Strong technical and cybersecurity expertise, with a focus on incident response and threat management.

Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is in search of passionate and skilled individuals to join our team. We are seeking a seasoned DOD Security Operations Engineer who will support the Joint Staff, CNMF, and CMTs in the planning, development, execution, and analysis of comprehensive cyber operations.

The Work:

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate system logs, network traffic, and user activities to detect potential security threats.
  • Employ tools such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and security information and event management solutions to identify security incidents.
  • Perform detailed investigations following incidents to ascertain their nature, scope, and impact.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams to implement necessary measures for containing, mitigating, and remedying confirmed security breaches.
  • Stay abreast of the latest threat intelligence, attack patterns, and security best practices.
  • Document incidents, investigations, and resolutions to maintain a thorough record of security events.
  • Develop and enhance enterprise-level security policies, procedures, and best practices.
