Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is on the lookout for mission-driven professionals to join our dynamic team. We seek seasoned DoD Cyber Security Engineers to partner with our clients in the comprehensive planning, development, execution, and analysis of a wide range of cyber operations.

The Work:

  • Conduct malware analysis and manage incident response.
  • Draft and implement comprehensive security incident response policies.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of malware involved in DoD breaches, including dynamic and static assessments and reverse engineering of intrusion artifacts.
  • Produce Government-sanctioned technical analysis reports detailing findings.
  • Identify unique indicators, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) from malware artifacts to inform detection and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with anti-virus vendors for malware submissions to enhance vendor anti-virus updates.
  • Extract malicious files from various digital media and sources.
  • Investigate, analyze, and document adversarial activities aimed at unauthorized access to DoD systems.
  • Generate analytical reports with recommendations, assessing the sophistication, priority, and threat level of identified malware.
  • Review media and malware analysis reports alongside operational reporting from DoD incidents to correlate similar events and malicious activity patterns.
  • Create metrics and trending reports on malicious activities impacting the DODIN, U. S. Government, and its allies.
  • Prepare and deliver update briefs, presentations, and reports to leadership to maintain situational awareness.
