The Cybersecurity Vulnerability Researcher plays a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities within networks, systems, and software, while implementing strategies to bolster the cybersecurity framework of our programs. This position involves the development of risk-based mitigation strategies for networks, operating systems, and applications, as well as the compilation and tracking of vulnerabilities and remediation outcomes to assess the effectiveness of the security posture.
Additionally, the Vulnerability Researcher is responsible for creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and training materials related to vulnerability management, as well as supporting the definition and assessment of requirements for information security solutions. The role includes conducting network-based scans to identify potential attack vectors and host-based scans to detect vulnerabilities in workstations, servers, and other network devices.
