This pivotal role focuses on minimizing savings leakage within the Laboratory spend through improved governance and oversight. Your analytical expertise will be instrumental in creating dashboards that visualize supplier spend concentration, catalog performance management, savings leakage by business unit, and KPI analysis across various categories.As a central analytics hub, you will unify procurement performance data, assess supplier fragmentation, identify spend consolidation opportunities, and analyze forecasted versus realized benefits. You will also provide critical support for large-scale sourcing projects, establishing yourself as the source of truth for North America procurement data.Key Responsibilities:Procurement Analytics & InsightsDrive advanced analytics development to support NAM Procurement across diverse categories.Evaluate supplier fragmentation, SKU variance, price dispersion, and consolidation opportunities.Create forecasted benefit models and savings calculations for extensive sourcing initiatives.Conduct UNSPSC-level classification, normalization, and enrichment of significant procurement datasets.Deliver impactful insights to Procurement leadership to facilitate strategic decision-making.RFP and Sourcing SupportConsolidate supplier submissions, normalize datasets, and validate commercial responses.Assist in bid comparison models, savings simulations, supplier scoring, and compliance tracking.Serve as the analytical owner for substantial RFPs (e.g., 43M CHF laboratory RFP).Collaborate with suppliers and NAM stakeholders to confirm product equivalencies and lab approvals.Catalog Management & Data GovernanceStructure supplier catalogs according to consolidated category strategies.Facilitate the creation and maintenance of catalog-ready datasets for Oracle, Ariba, or procurement platforms.Ensure adherence to data governance and maintain master data quality (pricing, SKUs, UNSPSC coding, supplier attributes).Work with R2P teams to guarantee catalog accuracy and readiness for integration.Reporting & DashboardingDesign and construct Power BI dashboards that provide insights into:UNSPSC-level spend concentration by supplier, category, country, and business unit.Savings leakage tracking (forecast vs. realized).RFP pipeline and sourcing performance metrics.Maintain dashboards on a regular basis for optimal performance.
