Join our dynamic Commercial Analytics Team within Finance at SumUp, where we are on the lookout for a talented Data Analyst to bolster our strategic initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Global and European Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams, developing data models, crafting insightful reports and dashboards, and performing advanced analyses that drive impactful business decisions.

Your contributions will significantly shape our business outcomes while you engage with an experienced data team, furthering the growth of our analytics chapter.

Your Responsibilities:

Design and manage efficient data models to monitor financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout the customer lifecycle, from acquisition to churn, tracking metrics like recurring revenue, payback, lifetime value, and customer acquisition cost (utilizing dbt).
Create user-friendly dashboards that empower self-service analytics for the Finance team and SumUp leadership.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, merging quantitative analysis with business context to facilitate informed decision-making.
Contribute to data-driven objectives aligned with SumUp’s business goals, including merchant segmentation and performance evaluation.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data collection, proper structuring, and ease of access for analytical purposes.

What We Are Looking For:

At least 2 years of experience in data analytics and data modeling, ideally with practical experience.
Proficient in creating advanced reports and dashboards using Google Sheets or similar tools.
