Join Our Team as a Data Analyst
Location: Detroit, MI
Contract Duration: 8+ months
The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in collaborating with both Business and IT stakeholders to facilitate the upgrade of our legal matter management application, TeamConnect, from version 3.4 to 5.0. The ideal candidate will swiftly grasp business requirements and assist in the development and testing of new features and updated interfaces for both internal applications (including SAP, Identity Management, HR, Microsoft Office, and eDocs DM) and external services such as Service of Process Vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze programs, processes, and procedures to extract, transform, integrate, and load data into data systems (Interface testing, debugging, and implementation).
- Demonstrate proficiency in all phases of software development, including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
- Utilize knowledge of data system platforms and database programming languages and tools (e.g., Oracle 12c; MS SQL Server 2012).
- Apply logical data modeling skills and understand distributed systems, IT architecture, and infrastructure standards.
- Communicate effectively to convey complex ideas to non-technical staff and stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
- BS degree and 3-5 years of IT experience or equivalent.
- Strong SQL skills, including query tuning.
- Ability to develop data requirements and perform strong data analysis.
